Teaching intensive

The same seven-day Ashland intensive at a reduced participant fee, while approved facilitator trainees complete supervised practicum — only with your consent for any observation.

Teaching intensive

What this means

A teaching intensive is the same seven-day experience — your own lodging, one-on-one preparation and integration, and two facilitated psilocybin sessions at Satya Therapeutics. The difference is how the week is scheduled and priced, not the basic shape of your care.

Teaching intensives exist so that approved facilitator trainees can complete supervised practicum hours in a real intensive setting, while participants receive the full one-on-one arc at a reduced fee ($2,450 vs. $2,950 private).

For participants

You work directly with your facilitator throughout the week. Trainees may observe preparation meetings, integration meetings, or facilitated sessions — only with your explicit consent, and only within boundaries you agree to in advance. Observation is never required to participate. If you prefer a week with no trainee involvement, choose a private intensive and schedule directly.

For students

Trainees in approved facilitator training programs join the same week to observe (with client consent), participate in mentor consultation, and complete practicum documentation required by their program ($500 mentorship fee).

How weeks are scheduled

There is no fixed calendar of teaching intensives. A week is offered when people on the separate client and student waitlists are ready around the same time. Join the waitlist that fits you — we follow up when a teaching intensive can be coordinated.

Practicum structure

Students from approved training programs may:

  • Complete practicum documentation

Two ways to join

  • Private intensive ($2,950) — schedule directly; no waitlist; no trainee observation
  • Teaching intensive ($2,450) — same week-long arc; reduced fee; trainee observation only with your consent; scheduled when client and student waitlists align
  • Students pay $500 for mentorship and practicum access during the teaching week
  • Separate client and student waitlists — teaching intensives happen when both align
